All She Needs

All She Needs

She always prayed for affection
Momma never taught her – to dream
Daddy failed - to ever - mention
Little boy’s want one thing

So she post her face – every - night now
She does her hair up - realll nice
Always gets - what - she needs now
When they tell her – sheee - looks nice

Yeaaaaaaaa - she begs – for - attention
Yet says – she - don’t need – a thing – a thing
She just needs - to – be needed
Loves when they - caaall - her name

Screaming out – for - an image
Dreams of becoming - that thing –that thing
With heaven – as - her witness
Yeaaaaaaa - that’s aaalll - she needs

Yea that’s all she needs

What she desired – was - contingent
What she wanted – waaass - their eyes
Face painted – like - an angel
Troubled soul - deeeep inside

Yeaaaaaa – there - went - an angeeell
Flying high in the sky – the sky
They gave her – what - she neeeeeded
Never cared about - why – she cried

Needed - someone – to - believe in
Now she’s up in the sky – the sky
Only the Lord - knows – her bleed-in
As she goes - to - the bye and bye

(Slow)

She begged - for - attention
Said - she don’t need a thing
She needed - to be - needed
Loved when they – called - her name

In search - of - an image
Wanted that thing – that thing
With heaven – as - her witnesssss
That’s aaall - she needs

That’s all she needs

(Another girl – the story continues)

She post her face – every - night now
She does her hair up - reaaall nice
She always – gets - what - she needs now
When they tell her – sheee - looks nice
