All My Days

All my days are a gift, you see
An expression of love
Purchased for me.

Neither one moment nor one day
Can ever I claim was owed me
Nor paid by myself to be my own
To have or to share alone.

Upon Christ’s return what shall I say
That His gift to me was squandered away?

I a branch and Christ the vine
Joined am I to life divine.

Though I wander in darkness
And my sight grows dim,
Christ has promised to bless
The soul that trusts in Him.

Baptized into Christ we die to sin
And to a new life we rise with Him.
Forgiven by grace through faith in
Christ we can face the worst of life
Knowing that we will always be
In His care eternally.

All my days are a gift, you see
An expression of love
Purchased for me.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your faith through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
