All Is Quiet
Now all is quiet, let the old man rest.
His body's weary and his work is done.
How many times was he put to the test?
How many were lost and how many won?
All is quiet,it wasn't always so -
Lives were lived with laughter and with sorrow.
An equal mixture of joy and of woe.
Who can say what will greet us tomorrow?
The sun will rise on a new Summer's day
As children wear smiles as a welcome guest.
The world will churn with a crisis they say -
While all is quiet let the old man rest.
