All In the Name of Style
All in the Name of Style
By Elton Camp
No male would ever endure submission
To his foot in a plantar-flexed position
Wearing shoes with four-inch heels
Willingly enduring how bad it feels
So that his gastrocnemius has grown short
Meaning normal walking it does thwart
The tibialis anterior and soleus activated
With results that will come to be hated
It’s stiff the Achilles’ tendon has become
Because to style he unwisely did succumb
Female folly shoe choice does betray
So she always falls when she runs away
Writing a sexist poem I have tried
One whose truth cannot be denied
For doing it, I may get some heat
But I don’t have corns on my feet
