All in a Dream

I was alone once the beginning was begun
Soul searching in the faces in the Sun
Where was the tranquility I thought we’d won
Still wondering who was the Chosen One

I was thinking about what they said
And hoping it wasn’t what I dread
But the lines kept returning to my head
Where was the truth in the parchment I had read

Then I was lying out in the blazing sun
Not ever knowing anyone
Having lost the Chosen One
Having lost the peace we’d won

All in a dream now in a dream.
