All In a Dog Day

What’s wrong with him?
He throws the stick
I bring back the bloody thing
This back and forth is making me sick

Now he calls me and says “time to go”
I want to play some more
I’m not ready, chase me, you too slow
His tried and angry because he swore

I’m not allowed on the couch
And if I do he kicks me in the nuts
I yelp, in dog language that means ouch!
He is luck I don’t bite him, his got guts

Revenge is sweet, in the corner I leave a treat
And mum shouts at him “you didn’t take him for a walk.”
See I told you I’ll have you beat
Now there’s silence and not willing to talk

So for now I’ll lie by the fire
Waiting to here the arguing Halls’
And do the thing I most desire
That is…… licking me b-lls
