All I Want To Know!
Last night I looked at the stars,
And thought of you.
Of how there was a small chance,
You’d be looking at them too!
I thought of your eyes,
Deep yet simple.
I thought of your smile,
With the cute little dimples.
I thought of your hair,
Rustled into a mess.
And how I wish,
I liked you much less.
The pain I feel,
When I look at you.
Is unbearable,
To go through.
I know friends,
Is all we ever will be.
But that’s just not,
good enough for me.
I wish we were more,
Then what we are now.
I want to know why I feel like this,
Can you please tell me how!
We used to talk,
All the time.
But now you’re so silent
It’s like you’re a mime.
I miss that smile,
I saw everyday.
But I guess that smile,
Has gone away.
We used to be so close,
But now we couldn’t be farther.
Should I tell you how I feel,
Or should I just not bother?
I wish you would look at me,
The way I look at you.
Just look through those eyes,
So bright, and so blue.
I wonder if you know,
That you mean everything to me.
I wonder if you feel the same,
Or if it just couldn’t be.
Just tell me how you feel,
I just want to know.
If you don’t feel the same,
I’ll just let it go.
But if you happen to like me,
The way I like you,
Then my eyes will no longer,
Drop tears of blue.
All I want to know,
Is will you ever love me?
All I want to know is can it ever be?’
