All I Ask For
all that i ask for
is all that you are.
i am the night sky,
you are my shooting star.
you complete me,
you know that you do.
all that i ask for
is that you don't find someone new.
together,
we can leave them all in awe.
you leave me with my heart's passion,
bleeding and raw.
this thing that i feel,
i cannot contain.
i'm bursting at the seams,
as i stand in the rain.
you pour down on me,
from the clouds up above.
i cannot explain the way
you fill me with love.
all that i ask for,
is all that you are.
