All Grown Up
The rusty earth,
boring beneath
his boyish knees.
He wondered, how long
it would take to grow
manly legs.
Legs, he could escape
his childhood dread.
Sipping wine she glances
at his manly knees.
He wonders, what she’s
thinking; on his
manly legs?
Legs, he could escape
with; lest something
more is said!
