All Ends
It was a sad gloomy face that frowned in her eyes, she was about 8 years old
Her chapped lips revealed her dry blood that expressed feelings of vivid pain
Her stomach spoke outloud, it cried in a way, it pleaded for nourishment
Pale skin and long hair dressed her bones, she faked a smile
In her broken voice revived a broken soul, whom was half dead already
Her eyes pierced my heart, and I bleed out sympathy, she limped on crutches
Went on slowly, with much caution as not to fall and break her frame
Her spirit jumped up, it ran towards me in cries of aid
I stood stoked not knowing how to react I saw my world freeze
This little girl knew me by name
She said "help" and I almost passed out in tears
I only a poet with a heartink and paper....
I wrote and I felt, saw and cried
Her house was made out of paper
Had a family that knew not much but to beg
A child about 1 year old laid in his box, no water to be seen
And I fell to my misery
For I knew nothing of hunger
I fell, my dream had consumed me
I awoke to my self, my comfort
My bed, take nothing for granted, its what she said
