All Because

All Because ____________________________ Please help me, Lord, for I am alone I stay without food and I haven't a home. People pass me by, afraid to say hello cause I look very different or I cough with a cold. My clothes are somewhat tattered, I move from place to place but people are the same I see it in their face. I wish they knew me, and what I've been through I once had it all and it was all new. But life took its course, things went all wrong so I do what I must to just get along. I've tried to work, but they won't hire people like me filth and tattered rags is all that they see. So at times, I must beg, having to swallow my pride people can be blessings but it still hurts inside. I wish we were friends, but life is so funny how people are different when it's all about money. 8/16/14-Jessica Thompson ( Just wrote because Of all the homeless people you see, and I just wonder if this is how some of them feel.) Just from my own perspective really.

Very touching, I see a lot of people who are not well off, soup kitchens and food banks, just needed a helping hand. If everyone shows and ounce of caring then maybe the world would be a better place. You poem was very good Jessica.
