All Around Us

From the delicate raindrops
resting, draping from the treetops
To the rich soil and velvet soft grass
we dig our feet in
We breathe in the scent of fresh air
We open our eyes to see
The soft glow of the sunrise
The ever-glowing moon in the night sky
And we know
He surrounds us
Gives us everything we could ever need
Providing us with food
With a roof over our heads
A family we get to call our own

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
