All Amiss

Beginnings of
A cave replete
A history
In gore complete
A mega rage
Of years entreat
Devour earth
To my defeat

And how do we
Do savor it?
The kind of which
Must discomfit
A water-world?
A match past lit?
A death null and
A fitting split
From life beginnings
Do return
To end of life
And my sojourn

From tree and cave
A dweller due
This litany
In time for you
The crime is past
The deed is done
This world without
Its killing fun

A season which
In Bible time
Must suit the need
And fit the crime
But how best He
Will manage this
When all have witness
All amiss
