All Alone

I Sat All Alone One Day
In the Shade of an Old Oak Tree
And My Mind Began to Wander
 I Remembered You and Me

I Looked up Towards the Heavens
And I Wished I Could Be Free
We Thought We'd Live Forever
It Would Be Just You and Me

I Shall Cherish All the Memories
For That's All I Can Have
Because They Help the Pain
They Are like a Soothing Salve

You Left Me All Alone One Day
And Your Presence I Still Crave
But I Don't Often Go Now
To Your Lonely Grave
