All About Me and Back To Me
This is how conversation with an All-About-Me-And-Now-Back-To-Me Goes
I say “You would not believe what a day I had.”
She interrupts me.
"my dog almost died, I almost got hit by a car, I nearly bit my tongue in two.”
I say “That sounds horrible, tell me about that.”
She speaks for fifty minutes.
I say “There is a co-worker who is so annoying, I almost lost it today.”
She says “Co-workers were always mean to me,” and she begins to list them.
Ten minutes later I say “I have to go”
She has one more story about “having to go”.
