All Aboard
Whistle blows
All aboard!!!!!!!!!
-From the rear I wave to those who have decided
To stay behind in yesterday
Remembrance, forms a tear,
A memory when that was I
Slowly we creep further and further away from each other
Life gathers speed and whips the wind through my hair
Across my face…
Drying any tear I might have had for myself before it can settle
Carrying away any tear I might have had for those whom I love
Before they can even fall………
About face
I make my way through the cabin
Never again looking back
Direction-forward
Destination-tomorrow
