Alive

Butterflies are entwined.
You can’t force them.
They like to do it.
It’s genius.
Meds become entwined too.
I need to wash the dishes,
Put the laundry away,
Put it away.
I don’t care about nature anymore.
I don’t follow their paths.
I water the plants in my house.
They die anyway.
Meds do that.
Meds help you remember.
But they don’t help us live.
