ALIVE

Seeing you makes me feel alive
Being near you, anything I can survive
But until your ready my feelings I hide
Just know that i'm always down to ride
I want to always make you smile
Even if it takes me awhile
I must walk on egg shells
To bring you safely out of hell
You've been hurt so much
Its hard for you to trust
I hope someday you'll see
Tht you can truly, honestly trust me
For now I'll sit and bide my time
Till the day you allow me to call you mine
I'll wait and just be your friend
But I'll always love you till the end

Thanks for sharing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
