Aliens

ALIENS? 

From another planet?
      OR
Another dimension?
That thin scrim-of-mind
                          strains to penetrate!
The Master has counseled  -
“Many Mansions”
Perhaps…………..      
            all depends
                        on developing-imagination
Of……………….
Coming out of body
     filtering through that thin scrim
             resting just back of the eyes
Yes!
     Just back of the eyes     but
                                        galaxies deep!
“Go into your closet”
    counseled the Master
Yes!
    that “closet” beyond the stars
         beyond physical need
               beyond fear
                               beyond beyond
That we see aliens might be proof
    proof that the window to beyond may be opened
Are a few allowed to see    to visit?
What world    undetected   whirls around me 
    as I write?

I read somewhere you had some surgery done for cataracts? I hope all is well with you :) & thank you for your thought-provoking comments, I think it holds so much truth, that is a wise man speaking and so are you- that poem was inspired by the contest, made me realize how "when" can be the scariest question? but yes, sometimes it also depends on how we see it, hugs & thanks :)

I suppose there are other "dimensions", but I don't feel that opening up a window, would be the right thing to do? But then again, for stuff like that, I'm cowardly. There is already lots of mystery and magic in the world, Daver. Birds, butterflies, fish, etc...that travel leagues to return to their birthplace. This is a super write, and one much enjoyed by me. Sometimes spirits of late loved ones seem to "visit," but I haven't seen the aliens yet. Is there room in that "closet" for both of us?
