Aliens

ALIENS?

From another planet?
      OR
Another dimension?
That thin scrim-of-mind
                          strains to penetrate!
The Master has counseled -
“Many Mansions”
Perhaps…………..
            all depends
                        on developing-imagination
Of……………….
Coming out of body
     filtering through that thin scrim
resting just back of the eyes
Yes!
Just back of the eyes but
                                        galaxies deep!
“Go into your closet”
    counseled the Master
Yes!
    that “closet” beyond the stars
         beyond physical need
               beyond fear
                               beyond beyond
That we see aliens might be proof
proof that the window to beyond may be opened
Are a few allowed to see to visit?
What world undetected whirls around me
    as I write?

very intriguing questions you ask here Daver-yup, sometimes one just can't help but wonder.. oh btw, how are your eyes? I read somewhere you had some surgery done for cataracts? I hope all is well with you :) & thank you for your thought-provoking comments, I think it holds so much truth, that is a wise man speaking and so are you- that poem was inspired by the contest, made me realize how "when" can be the scariest question? but yes, sometimes it also depends on how we see it, hugs & thanks :)

The Master has all the answers Daver .. and all the solutions to all the problems... excelelnt presentation of a theme to ponder .. to me the aliens represent those who do not know HIM.. how sad for them.. they are missing so very much.. another brilliant piece of poetry from my creative friend luv..

cool concept, Daver. what made you think of doing this? Are you seeing some little green men lately? All joking aside, I really ejoyed this and how you related it to God and man. Great reflective writing. LUv, Andrea

You definitely stimulate my mind and imagination, Daver! I suppose there are other "dimensions", but I don't feel that opening up a window, would be the right thing to do? But then again, for stuff like that, I'm cowardly. There is already lots of mystery and magic in the world, Daver. Birds, butterflies, fish, etc...that travel leagues to return to their birthplace. This is a super write, and one much enjoyed by me. Surely a mind probe!! God's blessings to you and yours! Love, Mikki

I believe in life from other planets as well as spirits dwelling in another dimension, Daver. Sometimes spirits of late loved ones seem to "visit," but I haven't seen the aliens yet. Is there room in that "closet" for both of us? We could talk about this in depth -- in fact, we have done so many times. Thanks for letting me know you posted it, dear. Always enjoy your work! Very thought-provoking poetry from you every time. This is particularly well done! Love, Carolyn
