Alien Sunset
Sitting here alone,
where the grass is cobalt blue.
On the edge of this alien world,
and the sea is crimson - oh what a view!
The evening is closing in fast.
On the horizon comes the sunset - my heart it pounds.
For you see the sun is of the brightest violet
All shades of purple, I fall to the ground!
The violet sun rays shine down on the sea,
Of which is crimson and resembling glass
I cry. I can't believe it. This is immense!
All shades of colors having a blast.
The sun has gone.
I lay amongst the cobalt blue.
I look up at the stars and think of home.
I wonder if what I saw was true!
