Alcoholism
Is Alcoholism just a mechanism
a vehicle for forward thought
Or a catalyst for fugitives
drinking from the poison draught
Everyone has a voice in here
saying what they want at will
Conflicting arguments and sane tectonics
could put this alignment in tilt
What is the meaning of true insanity
when your thoughts have been confined
Mouth will never speak for itself as long as
you let them take your next line
A paradox or slurring thoughts that are
shaping this confusion entwine
The trembling of my hands and the beating
of my heart with the next rhyme
Day to day life is expressing an
overwhelming fear of my transient state
Creating a path of remembrance but bad
habits are impossible to debate
Shaping what I'm going to become
Conforming to what the want for me
Unconscious decisions affecting
What Alcoholism strives to be
