Alcohol

alcohol is distructive
not very productive
it distroys your life
and even your wife

just one more please
and its always a tease
its never ever enough
and very very tough

want to give up you cry
many times will you try
have you the will to do it
got the guts, or will for it

the aches and pains you complain
is it right for my domain
how did i do this to myself
dislike is more than life its self
  
but oh the high you do feel
and will never want a meal
for if you do it will sober you up
and you will feel you must give it up

and there you are again
with the feeling of pain
that its done this to you again
and never will you be so slain

this has become the mantra
for every time you trip up
and pain this causes your partner
again you say must give this up

but the head space must be right
for you to win this fight
are you really trying hard
easy to say its not on the card

one day you will suceed
with each and every need
and make the choices you must
to give up this insistint thrust

the vicious circle you are in
and have the life that should have bin
aceptence of happiness and contentment
to life the life that you were meant

of a family, a wife and loves
that you treat with a kid gloves
to whom you mean so much
but are so afraid to touch

till you decide to be open wide
there will always be a great divide
that only you can enclose
and sit happy in your repose
