Akula the Lost Poem

AKULA (the lost poem) My wish is just to go to sea forgetting everything that's me on Akula, the boat I've never seen, forgetting everything I've ever been. To feel as free as gulls that fly not bound by earth, or in the sky, away from everything I know, that makes me wonder where to go. Away from love, away from hate, of born too soon, or born too late. To drift as islands, in the stream, on Akula, where I can die with my dream. © ron wilson aka Vee Bdosa the doylestown poet

Akula. Another poet on PS by the name of Judy Konos, whom I have known for years, has a boat, yacht, named Akula, she promised me a ride on it some day, but Hurrican Katrina blew a coupla holes in it, but I think it is sea worthy again. Anyway, I, too was a little baffled at why anyone would name a boat after a class of Russian Nuclear Attack Sbmarines, when 2 of them have been patrolling off of each of our coasts for years with enough firepower to blast us all into smithereens....LOL
