Air

Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air.

Air: an invisible stream
wandering the curves of the earth,
an unseen shepherd herding clouds
and rustling up the rain that falls

Air: an artist of the swaying trees
and rippling waves upon the seas;
as gentle as the morning breeze
and in its care even eagles dare to rise.

Air: is the life in infant's lungs,
a quiet pulse, a mother's sigh;
a carrier of scents and sounds~
     whispered secrets
          love profound
               spoken words 
                    songs of birds

Air: holds the perfume of the rain,
and aroma in the fields of grain,
the tangy smell of salty sea,
and fragrant flowers wild and free

Air: is the canvas of our world,
it's in the backdrop of the sky
when painted with the sunset's fire;
     it shifts 
          it shapes
              it colors days
              
Air: the lover of the earth,
an eternal force that has no berth
     no bounds
          no walls
               no doors
it slips through cracks it lifts and soars;
it is the One connecting all.
