I started writing this yesterday.  Somethings are harder to write

Than others,  especially from memory. The  original words of this

Phrase is AIN'T NOTHIN'  BUT A CAKE WALK. So I made some

Corrections.  I tried to convince my self that life  was easy without

My father.  This story is a combination of fact and fiction.

Those words on my mind " Ain't NOTHING BUT A CAKE WALK" Sitting back in my father's favorite chair He was right it was easy, a cake walk. Thinking about Times when I tried until There was no effort left. Trying Beyond strength. I steeled myself Against morbid tears for these Were TEARS of sorrow. I tried earnestly I thrived I Fought the fight I survived. Worth it all? Never a pitiful eye did I ever need. Worse of all I spat knives and nails with Only my breath left. I struggled pass my shadow when It preceded me I grew impatient with my self. This is the youngster I Once was. Never giving up the clutch of the crutch I was proudly flying but I was my own Reluctant super hero after my father Died I stood young angry and Supremely arrogant I heard his words AIN'T NOTHING BUT A CAKE WALK in my thoughts, a recital I was alive! nothing toxic in My view, searching for my father's shoes.
