Ain'T Nobody Like Us

We do what others wouldn't dare to do.
We put life out there on a world's view.
We have access to our own universe.
Where we can share our love and our hurt.
There is absolutely no one like us.
A community sharing that monster stuff.
Our work will be here, long after we're gone.
I can't speak for ya'll, but I'm not done.
I'm speaking to ya'll at poetrysoup and timbooktu.
Without a word, you know who I'm talking to.
Its a comfort zone, where we can tell the truth.
Take us back to the times of our early youth.
There ain't nobody like us, where boundaries don't exist.
Generations from now, they'll be talking about this.
So, this is my gesture to my family and friends.
Those of you, who've become my kin.
