Aimless and Wandering

i put my heart to the skies and asked for reprise
i'm beginning to understand
i was put in this world with a brain to learn
and someone took me by the hand
i was lead through a passage to harmony
but it was something i couldn't stand
i was lost through the turns and the twists
and the walls that everyone told me to pass
till someone let go of my hand and said
"go on, it's easier when you find your own path."
