Aim In Life
My life, I now do see,
Is all in vain, but Thee,
I wish to dedicate,
My life for all eternity.
I once did wonder why
I'd come to life and sighed,
But now I know my task, is to
Live for you and always fight.
I'd cry and cry to feel,
The sense of aim, so dear,
But as I searched my soul,
I knew that I was nowhere near.
But when thy presence came,
I realized my aim,
And did resolve to do
What pleased Thee rather than complain.
So now I do declare
That I shall always glare,
And draw more souls to share
The pleasures of Thy kingdom, rare.
