Ailing Heart

At last I concede defeat in this facetious world
The throbbing continuous pain, the rejections so cold
My dejected heart cannot take any fouls
The frequent liars the impossible goals
Tasks undoable and words unspeakable
Tight smiles ending in painful cheeks miserable
Corporate positions held by inadequate persons
Funding disappearing moneys untimely endings
Alas my poor heart this charade cannot take
This unhelpful futile existence of indeterminate stake
Aid our broken world Almighty, dire straits have come upon us
Where honesty and goodwill was found, is now filled with hate

This is so direct, so clear and boy do I agree with the sentiment within this write. Very expressive and flowing. Michael
