Notes About The Poem

Here's a little gloom to take the shine off the holidays' luster. lol...

'a-Haunting' Art Did Go

Art dug down, into the depths of his soul
Turned up the darkest fears, black as coal
   He'd gone 'a-haunting'
   But found it daunting
Wondered, 'Am I he for whom the bell tolls?'

Poor Art. He might better just be a shallow person and leave the soul searching alone. LOL..Thanks for dropping by. Sara

Lol, I think the grim reaper has us all in his sights, hopefully not for a while. If you hear the bell, run like hell. Tom

OK, thanks. That's what I was aiming for, (I guess). ~ Gershon the Guesser
