Ah, Your Charm Is An Obsession
Don't call me darling and smile sweetly,
don't insist if I ignore you constantly,
but don't assume I can't be conquered with one hug:
I want more than kisses, more than you crave for;
more than any sentimental song
that excites us on the crowded dance floor!
Ah, your charm is an obsession,
something stronger than me!
Ah, your charm is an obsession,
that fire quickly burning me!
As stubborn as you are,
it won't stick to your silly head
that I'm not looking for a nightstand,
as other mindless guys are,
but for a soulmate to own forever;
take a deep breath and be clever!
Ah, your charm is an obsession,
something stronger than me;
ah, your charm is an obsession...
that fire that's burning me!
Whatever is exciting you must be controlled,
your emotions are too strong and wild
and everybody can see the desperation
of a voluptuous woman given to sensation,
to feelings exploding without a spark from me;
is this dancer aware of your deception
that can be dangerous if used to possess me?
