Ah, the Tenses
Strange, how often we think on the past
For it's the one thing we cannot change
Yet humans just cannot grasp that truth
And even I have tried to rearrange
Try and try, though try we might-
The past is forever locked in the past
The future is only what matters now
For the future- the future will last
It's funny, though...
How we live in the present
When the present is so short a time
The future is endless and endless
And past is only good for a rhyme
