Age of Time

I keep lessons from you
and use them everyday.
It's a memory
that has a little sting.
I try to stay focused now
and just let it be.
It will all make sense
in the end.
I'm transitioned back
to one I never left.
Still hoping
and hinting.
To show another side
is my mission tonight.
But I should be loved
by just being myself.
I stand on this mountain
looking down.
As my thoughts change
at nightfall.
Supported by a tree
instead of a body around me.
My eyes tear
because of the wind.
Wishing this would make a moment.
