Age of the Phoenix

Stood alone against time & watched the ages pass
saw the world turned to ashes
in the wake of a thought
but even in the midst of the rain,
my eyes alone could touch the flame

For you i was a fallen queen,
touched by jaded prophecy
Under guise of darkness,
with that aid of your hand
i will fall again
