Age of Love

We were too young to fall in love
Hearts shining, we stuck like glue
Soaring high like a flying dove
Our eyes and spirits connected too

We set up home, made many a friend
Family began, one child then two
If we ever fought, soonest did mend
Our mood was very rarely blue

Working hard by day, we wouldn't stop
Providing the best for our kids we would
Everything was sorted and not on the hop
We delivered the happiest life we could

At every age we had lots of fun
We sang and danced along the way
On holiday we enjoyed the sun
Cherishing life each and every day.
