Age gap siblings

my brother is 11 years older than me 
he would read me stories and sing me songs 
he taught me how to ride a bike and play guitar 
but he is 11 years older than me 

he is 16 out with friends, i’m 5 playing with barbie dolls 
he no longer reads stories or sings me songs 
because he is 11 years older than me 

we are now 7 and 18 
he goes on drives and gets back at 2 
sometimes we play games in his room

but he’s an adult and i’m still growing up 
so by the time i’m 10 his room is empty 
his new house is nice but i don’t see him often 

he’s 22 and announcing their pregnancy 
there’s no longer a room for me to sleep in 

i’m 15 with a brother 11 years older than me 
i taught him to braid hair, make friendship bracelets and who justin beiber is 
but he doesn’t remember that 
he has a family of his own 

i wish i could be a kid with him 
stay up too late and eat to many sweets 

but he is 11 years older than me
