Agape and Eros
God said, ye two ere ye leave
For your mission upon Earth,
I’ll to each a star badge give:
To Agape, if of gold goes,
Silver glory to Eros,
She sure does fair work of worth.
Then as is her wont Eros
Put on star, pride that shows.
Agape, fond of no such things,
Went on her mission on wings
And as gold star of love rose.
