Again, I Pray
Sleeping in sorrow’s lullaby...can’t lie
Sweet slumber is only tomorrow’s cry
Can’t deny, I prayed a thousand times
I can only try to make up these rhymes
Again, I pray away the past pain
Again, I pray away the shy rain
That drizzles in lonely vibes of you, you, you
That truly dangles in my curls of brownish blue
The shameless sky of red
I pray it sheds away the dread
I pray it sheds away the dread
Again, I pray for better days
I pray I won’t fall prey to you nowadays and girl, I’m speechless again
My heart is shattered in pieces and you do as you please
I’m torn apart at the seams
I’m closer to falling apart, yet my heart’s at ease, at ease
I’m torn apart by bad dreams
Again, I pray for better days
I pray in many, many ways and boy, does this mourning inside remain
Holding my breath from on high...I fly
I surrender in your arms, awake and dry
Can’t deny, I prayed countless times
I can only try to make up these rhymes
Again, I pray away the past pain
Again, I pray away the shy rain
That drizzles in lonely vibes of you, you, you
That truly dangles in my curls of brownish blue
The shameless sky of red
I pray it sheds away the dread
I pray it sheds away the dread
Again, I pray for better days
I pray I won’t fall prey to you nowadays and girl, I’m speechless again

Broken and I need a mend or two
Unspoken like poetic morning dew
Soaking up the grime of our lives, of our lives
Our youth is as painful as a thousand knives
We have fallen into the darkness...into the deep
We have fallen to our knees
Prayed away the pain and yet, we still weep
You and I need love please
Again, I pray away the past pain
Again, I pray away the shy rain
That drizzles in lonely vibes of you, you, you
That truly dangles in my curls of brownish blue
The shameless sky of red
I pray it sheds away the dread
I pray it sheds away the dread

Missing you in despair
Our spirits are in the air
Dare to wonder where I’ve been?
Again, I pray you understand and then
You’ll know where my airplane lands
We will be together again in good hands
Our spirits are in the ground
Without a single sound...
We are captivity-bound,
Longing to be free
Praying once more for relief
Again, I pray freely,
Yet, I prey upon your lonely grief
Again, I pray away the past pain
Again, I pray away the shy rain
That drizzles in lonely vibes of you, you, you
That truly dangles in my curls of brownish blue
The shameless sky of red
I pray you take flight with wings of desire - go ahead!
I pray it shreds away your lonely grief instead...
Lost in the stillness of your prayers
Found in the shadows of our yesteryears
Lost in the weeds of faults and errors
Bound in the river of your wretched tears
Lost in the seas of endearment that never injures
A long lost soul like mine...again, I pray for a divine sign
Lost in the wilderness of our years of cheers so fine
Again, I pray away the past pain
Again, I pray away the shy rain
That drizzles in lonely vibes of you, you, you
That truly dangles in my curls of brownish blue
The shameless sky of red
I pray it sheds away the dread
I pray it sheds away the dread
Lost and found in the tides and floods of prayer time
I’m not scared to lose control, alone in space without you, looking like a silly fool
Lost and found in the prides and humilities of our prime
Again, I pray to be prepared for the worst in this life of a burning, churning whirlpool
Again, nowadays,
I pray for better days
