Aftermath

Listen to poem:
Written: November 13, 2023 ____________________________________________ The exhausted soul's speech is faint. In response to the voice of dream. When faith lends its way to conflate The exhausted soul's speech is faint. Where the bloom faded with berate lack of mind and frame as soul screams The exhausted soul's speech is faint. In response to the voice of dream.

dearest Sotto-an outstanding Triolet. I could feel the soul's tired anguish. Your images, word choice, and rhyme scheme worked together in sync to create an amazing poem. I liked 'where the bloom faded with berate lack of mind and frame as soul screams.' Truly mindful lines that tells me about the depth and sensitivity of your soul. This poem captivated me...and I must fav it for reading again later. Thanks for your creative spirit and soul, your poetess friend, Sara

- Valuable knowledge and unique insight that daydreaming is not mainly motivated by "the perfect life" ... a lovely and sensitive poem, Las :) - hugs

I can feel that refrain “ exhausted…” the exhaustion you’ve described and expressed here is so vivid and so soul stirring. Somedays we are emotionally physically and in every way exhausted, and in those times yes speech is faint. The topics and subjects you touch and write about are so philosophical. I absolutely loved reading this triolet. You weave words effortlessly! Sending you light always
