After the War

After The War
 Wiesbaden 1946

 From dawn to sunset
walked the day.
over the scattered ruins of
broken promises.
Searching, to find
piece by piece.
The day is short
and the pieces are many.
Be aware-don’t let
tomorrow pass by.
