After The Storms

The pale white skies, with a tint of setting sunlight,
Spread across the horizon beyond the hill
Gray bark, tall pines and the oak stood proud
Holding their proof of spectacular seasons passed
Wind blown snow hug the tree trunks like marshmallows
Decorative slopes, frozen in collective time
Winter has a way of saying, everything will be alright
As it leaves behind these calm scenes that resonate
Always showing quiet peace, in drifts after the storms

When the ferocious storm abates everything becomes peaceful and still. It's only then you feel at peace with the world. Enjoy your weekend. Tom

Heidi, you capture the serene aftermath with poetic grace. The pale skies, proud trees, and snow-draped landscapes unfold a tale of resilience. Winter's whisper reassures that everything will be alright, leaving behind scenes of quiet peace in the drifts after the storms. I really enjoyed. - Blessing, Daniel
