After the Storm

The storm was like an ocean
The current running deep
The anger of the cage I wore
The customs that we keep

The rage of past emotions
The storms of lovers pain
The hidden doubts creating cliffs
The heart ache whrenching pain

Oh God have you forgotten me
where does my sin begin
Oh god have you forgotten me
do good boys never win

The grief of your emotions
The rage and inner strain
I could not dream tomorrow
that I would win again

The quest for truth
The Inner guilt
the fighting thoughts
that would not quit

Emotions jumping
Heartbeat thumping
thoughts
that would not stop

I dove in deep
within myself
I questioned
all, that I had found

I question
everyone I knew
examined all
I thought

I jumped through ropes
I could not sleep
I did not comprehend
I needed information

I needed bright new friends
But still I could not see the way
the darkness in the bends
still I could perceive some day

that I would make new friends
From the pain I have now grown
I can perceive a brighter day
in life, we can learn how to play

the storm has past I can now roam
I taste the summer sun again
respect your love and just have fun.
You can now choose to dance and run
