After the Storm

cry
in the
privacy
of your sad thoughts
behind louvered blinds
till pain wanes…then
wipe away
your tears:
smile

Crying relieves pain and when pain is relieved, heart rejuvenates and there comes the light of smile which gives strength to wipe out every odd. Beautiful write Paul :)

You handled both the tears and the turn marvelously in your exceptional Ninette, Paul. Tears are a wonderful release as is a smile, which your poetry always seems to bring about (the smile.. of course) :)) Best wishes for a win and warmest wishes and hugs for you my precious friend.. ~Susan

A full turn of emotions from one that is so sad, and will cry behind louvered blinds, alone, and so no one can see- the pain and cause of sadness will eventually subside and the good cry will release all the pent up emotion, and then it is time for the tears to be wiped away, so we can face life again, and to smile - a perfect ninette of a situation - love it Paul and have to fav it. Hope the storm doesn't reappear! Hugs and blessings my friend, Jennifer.
