AFTER THE RAIN

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mud-streaked pavement gleams~ a snail's silver trail dissolves into dusk's embrace. Was it ever really here? Only the damp earth remembers.

Yes, curious of how we leave hints of having been here, there, everywhere. When my mom died, I thought ‘Has she ever been here.’ A strange thought, I know, yet death is strange. Hugs, you!
