After the Rain

After the rain
Will it wash away the pain?
What will remain?
After the rain

After the storm
No shadow or form
Left to keep me warm
After the storm

After the rain
Will I still be sane?
What affects my brain?
After the rain

After the storm
Nothing left to warn
From my life I'm torn
After the storm

After the rain
What's left to refrain
Me from becoming insane?
After the rain

After the storm
All my world is shorn
Will I be reborn?
After the storm

After the rain
I strolled down the old lane
'Neath the full moon soon to wane
After the rain

After the storm
Will my ship land on distant shore?
Will I cry no more?
After the storm

After the rain
I can dance again
Cast off the old bane
After the rain
