After the Rain

No birds today, for there was rain
Not just here, but all along the lane
Flowers faded this day of gloom
Tomorrow will be sunny, watch them bloom

No blue skies just filled with gray
I’m not worried, it won’t stay
Puddles in patches, windows are speckled
Clearing tomorrow, colors will be freckled.

Soft steady drops, no downpour
Replenishes the land, ponds and more
It feeds the gardens, helps them grow
Maybe you will spot a double rainbow.

Nice to think about the rainbow through the gray, replenishing water, and sunshine ahead :)
