After the Party Is Over

Wineglasses stained
red
    red-rimmed eyes
needing sleep
After the party is over
         the patrons depart
leaving behind memories
              Did anyone know why
they were there?
     Well, the question
didn't arise
            the revelers dance for hours
             later the moonlight
was blocked by clouds
         don't try to explain
this late at night
        words fail us
after the party is over
          we'll take a deep breath
and head home
         a strarlit sky
awaIts us
     don't be fooled by
the sighs in the air
the party was sufficent in its time
now we walk a perilous path
    which leads us to
  a new morning
somewhere near the sun

A pleaseant read, interesting situation & story, found the formatting a bit odd.
