After the Funeral

After the funeral,
and all are gone,
back to live their lives,
I sit alone, and in it sinks,
The torturous thoughts
of my future sighs

For me, as now,and
then again, all alone
I was perplexed by my emotion,
I suddenly realized
the depth of change,
Like my ship on a storm
tossed ocean

I go to his room,
I poke around,
I find things to make me cry,
I feel so lonely and helpless,
I wish that I could just die

Henceforth no one wants
to talk of it,
Although I wished they would,
They took the "safe course"
Thinking that they were doing good...

Now it's obvious to all that think,
that each one of us that are born,
Comes a day to say good-bye,
Albeit, we're forlorn...
Their tears, they dry quick,
But, surely not are mine,
Cause I think, I'm coming
unglued,
My life has started to unwind.
