After Round One

After round one of last night's debate
Huckabee and Santorum met Trump for a date
They had finished round one and had nothing to do
Trump was not performing his part in round two
He was doing his own thing to benefit vets
By disrupting things he was hedging his bets
Besides the debate was broadcast by Fox
And Trump knew they would try to put him in a box
If he did not attend, could not be made a fool
Could observe from afar if Fox lost its cool
Fox dug up some video of Rubio and Cruz
That showed they were two faced, now they were the news
Fox was quite successful put eggs on both faces
Of Rubio and Cruz to damage their races
What would have happened if Trump had been there?
Fox still made the news, never mind being fair
Round two was okay but it wasn't the best
The candidates worked with Fox being a pest
Got their points across as well as they could
Didn't change their positions didn't do them much good
Meanwhile three amigos were laughing with glee
Trump had beaten Fox for all out there to see
The vets benefited from his event of the night
And he won by a TKO of Fox in the fight
You might think again if you like Trump or not
He certainly showed Fox what it is he has got
Taught them a little about the birds and the bees
Think what he might do with our enemies
