After Hours Call

party's over
when you're sober
can't walk home to-night

keep on stumbling
stomach's rumbling
better stop to get a bite

but what can i say
i wish you'd stay
and cry on this shoulder to-night

but we were young and
restless wanderers and
couldn't be out in the light
